Another appointee failure

Last week the Mayor unveiled his mayors’ task force on the budget and immediately created another controversy by appointing Ishan daya. The Mayor's appointment shows a lack of concern in governing all people of Chicago. By appointing someone he knows was called out for anti-semitism by the Jewish community and others and forced out of his company is tone deaf. Although I've been made aware he is now out of the working group due to backlash, I am extremely frustrated by the mayor’s continued insistence on appointing unqualified and offensive candidates to city boards at a crucial time in our city’s history.
